The sternum is protected with molded HD resin that is integrated into the design of the shoulder pads. The front side panel on the Bauer NSX shoulder pads is constructed with perforated foam and has a tapered fit to be snug to your body. For spine protection, the NSX shoulder pads have MD foam with PE insert that is segmented to move and adjust with your body. The back side panel is made with medium density foam and has the same tapered fit as the front panel. The arch of these shoulder pads is made with high density foam and has a comfort collar. For the bicep protection, the NSX shoulder pads feature an adjustable 1-piece pad with molded PE. The liner on these shoulder pads is a hydrophobic mesh liner.
